Home size and stories
Approximate finished square footage acts as a repeatable proxy for roof perimeter. Story count accounts for the added height, ladder movement, setup time, and minimums that come with taller homes.
Price a specific home from details you already know—ZIP code, approximate size, stories, gutter condition, service options, and cleaning frequency. Eligible active-market ZIPs can continue to scheduling; other areas receive an honest availability result.
Payment appears only after an eligible customer chooses to book
How this calculator sources prices. Eligible ZIPs use a live local rate card. A planning estimate identifies whether it is Houston-derived or uses a separate market draft, pending verified local transaction data.
A best estimate is perfectly fine.
The tool converts a short set of homeowner-friendly answers into a consistent local price. It does not ask you to climb a ladder or measure every gutter run.
Approximate finished square footage acts as a repeatable proxy for roof perimeter. Story count accounts for the added height, ladder movement, setup time, and minimums that come with taller homes.
Light, moderate, or heavy debris changes the expected labor. Gutter guards add handling time, while downspout water flushing remains a separate option that is included only when selected.
The ZIP identifies the applicable market, tax treatment, route rules, and booking status. That prevents one national average from being presented as though it were a firm local service price everywhere.
One-time, yearly, semiannual, and quarterly choices show price per visit, annual visits, discount, expected annual spend, and annual savings. Choose the maintenance pattern that fits the property, not only the largest discount.
Understanding the result
The result begins with the market's base service and applies the selected home-size, story, debris, guard, and downspout adjustments. If a recurring plan is selected, its discount is applied to the service amount. The calculator then shows the service subtotal, estimated sales tax, and total per visit. The plan comparison also shows the expected annual spend so a lower per-visit price is not confused with a lower total commitment.
The standard scope shown with a GutterPrice result covers debris removal from safely accessible roofline gutters, debris bagged for curbside pickup, and before-and-after photos. A downspout water flush is included only when it is selected. Repairs, underground drainage, inaccessible sections, roof work, and conditions not represented by the answers are outside a routine cleaning price unless a separate scope is approved.
Active quote or planning estimate? An eligible Houston ZIP can continue to scheduling and payment. A prelaunch result is clearly labeled, collects no payment, and remains nonbinding until that market's coverage and operating details are verified.
GutterPrice does not turn a national average into a false property quote. Each published calculator uses a versioned market rate card: base price, square-foot increments, story adjustments, debris levels, guard work, selected flushing, plan discounts, tax, and any documented route rule. The same calculation is used when a live customer proceeds to checkout, so displayed prices and paid booking records can be compared without changing the formula after the fact.
The transaction sample is still early and Houston-weighted because Greater Houston is the first booking-open market. Paid checkout records are captured as bookings occur, but the present sample is not large enough to claim a statistically representative national average. Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Louisville use market-specific prelaunch rate cards for planning while contractor capacity and local operating assumptions are verified. Those figures are labeled as estimates and cannot proceed to payment.
Planning-price ZIP recognition uses the U.S. Census Bureau's National 2020 Urban Area to 2020 ZCTA Relationship File: 2020 Census Urban Areas matched to 2020 Census ZCTAs. GutterPrice includes a same-state ZIP when at least 50% of the 2020 zcta land area lies inside the named 2020 census urban area. The 2020 Census urban-area criteria no longer split qualifying areas into the earlier “urbanized area” and “urban cluster” categories. A planning ZIP must be in the same state as its published market page; cross-state ZIPs are excluded. Recognition selects a planning rate card only; paid booking still requires a separate exact ZIP, active-capacity match in the fulfillment database.
As completed jobs accumulate, quote answers, booked amounts, selected plans, service results, and market-level conversion data can inform future rate-card reviews. A future update may change a market's price book, but it should not rewrite the price attached to an earlier paid booking.
Houston is the live booking market. Other published cities provide local planning calculators and ZIP-interest registration until their pricing, taxes, and fulfillment capacity are ready.

The result follows the rate card, tax treatment, and availability rules configured for the ZIP, together with the property details you enter. Houston results can proceed to booking in eligible ZIP codes. Prelaunch-market results are planning estimates until local pricing and contractor capacity are verified. A materially different property condition may require a customer-approved scope change before additional work begins.
No. Most homeowners do not know their gutter footage, so the calculator uses approximate finished home size as a practical proxy. Story count, debris, guards, downspout flushing, and ZIP add the context that square footage alone cannot provide.
The itemized result separates the service subtotal, selected property or service adjustments, recurring-plan discount, estimated sales tax, and total per visit. Downspout water flushing appears only when selected. Planning-market tax is labeled as an estimate until checkout opens.
Yes. There is no charge to use the calculator, and you can see pricing before entering contact information. Payment is requested only when an eligible active-market customer chooses an appointment and proceeds to secure checkout.
GutterPrice opens checkout market by market. A prelaunch ZIP can record demand or show a clearly labeled planning price, but booking stays closed until the local rate card, tax treatment, service coverage, and contractor capacity are verified.
Home size, number of stories, debris condition, gutter guards, optional downspout flushing, service frequency, local tax, and market-specific route rules can change the result. Access conditions or property details that differ materially from the answers may also change the approved scope.
